Manly Art Gallery and Museum Show July to November

Annette Gero has asked me to let everyone know about the free historic war quilt exhibition she has curated at the Manly Art Gallery and Museum in Sydney later this year.

The quilts will be on show from the 3rd of July to the 22nd November and the exhibition includes a couple of Crimean War era quilts. The quilts range in age from a 1770 quilt to a couple of quilts that were made after the end of WW2 from blackout fabric, and she tells me some of them are "visual masterpieces".

Annette is also giving a talk about each of the quilts and she is bringing out another book.
