1) The shop was great. It has the best range of fabrics I have seen since I have been here in Oz. I was especially looking for Australian designs and hand screen-printed fabrics and they had a really good range of those, even some that have been discontinued. They were really friendly and helpful, and they do mail order (even internationally) so I'm sure I will be shopping there again. They are hoping to get set up on the internet and get a mail order web site going.

2) I Found this wonderful little gift shop in Kingscote that also has a patchwork corner. She carries most of the Jinney Beyer Palette range lots of 30's fabrics and a nice selection of other fabrics, including brights. The owner sorry I have forgotton her name was very friendly I enjoyed myself so much I had to make 2 visits
