I made this quilt for my mother for Xmas last year. Butterflies have always been a favourite and red is her favourite colour. She loves this quilt. I hand pieced the butterfly blocks and machine quilted it.

This is a photo of my fish quilt. It is called "Waterway Warfare" and is a protest against exotic fish destroying our waterways. I used fabric, gesso, teabags, stitching and found objects to create this quilt.
