Blue Whirligig Quilt is a totally hand made quilt – hand pieced and hand quilted. I even cut the pieces of fabric with scissors and hand stitched the binding on. The quilt was designed by Lorraine Moran and I saw it in the Australia Patchwork & Quilting – Christmas Edition 2002 Magazine and knew I had to make it in blue. After a few starts and stops, I have finished it.
